Technical Planning & DfM (Design for Manufacturing)

Within the scope of medium and large-scale projects, design details are optimized before production to maximize the efficiency of manufacturing and assembly processes. By eliminating risks through advanced simulation and analysis techniques, a flawless translation of designs into the physical world is ensured.

Our Technical Design & Engineering Capabilities:

1 Detail Optimization & Technical Risk Management

As part of medium and large-scale projects, architectural designs whose design phase has been completed are passed through a DfM (Design for Manufacturing) filter before they are put into production. Geometric clashes, material incompatibilities, and structural weaknesses that may occur during manufacturing and assembly are detected and completely eliminated before production through advanced CAD/CAM simulations and structural analysis (FEA).

2 Flawless Translation of Design to the Physical World

In order to produce aesthetic designs on industrial production lines without errors and with high efficiency, material joint details, tolerance analyses, and edge details are optimized. In particular, the modular structure of all components to be used in fixed furniture installation processes and superstructure fine works is standardized during the technical planning phase to maximize installation speed on site and minimize waste rates.

INTEGRATED PRODUCTION PROCESSES AND HYBRID COMPONENT TECHNOLOGY

High-volume manufacturing demands for medium and large-scale projects are coordinated across Arcora's fully integrated production facilities. From raw materials to the assembly line, all stages are monitored seamlessly by our digital infrastructure.

Our Production & Material Integration Capabilities:

1 Simultaneous Production & Digital Traceability

High-volume manufacturing requests within the scope of medium and large-scale projects are organized in Arcora's fully integrated production facilities. Panel processing, industrial paint/varnish, acrylic/solid surface shaping, and high-tech upholstery units are managed integrally through a custom production tracking system developed in-house by Arcora. The instantaneous station on the production line, work order status, and lead times of each manufacturing item are monitored simultaneously via this digital tracking infrastructure, ensuring absolute synchronization between units.

2 Hybrid Joint Solutions in Factory Environment

Complex (hybrid) connection details, where materials of different characteristics such as wood, metal, acrylic, glass, and textile come together, are not left to risky initiatives in the site environment. All connections, tolerance tests, and structural integration processes are solved in the factory's controlled laboratory and assembly line environments. Interlocking details of parts, mechanical connection points, and surface alignments are tested on the production line to ensure flawless integration.

3 Site Optimization & Zero Tolerance

Components whose hybrid solutions have been completed in the factory and whose quality control approvals have been granted through our custom tracking system are packaged modularly according to the site installation sequence. This industrial approach leaves only the load of positioning and fixing to the site during the assembly processes of fixed furniture. Traditional time-consuming and quality-degrading processes such as cutting, touch-up, polishing, or fitting parts on site are eliminated, enabling turn-key installation with "zero tolerance".

4 End-of-Process Advanced Quality Assurance & Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)

All composite and hybrid modules emerging from the assembly line with approval from our production tracking system are subjected to micron-level quality tests (surface smoothness, varnish thickness, material stress resistance) in a laboratory environment before entering the site shipment chain. For complex and large-scale architectural units, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) is carried out in controlled demo areas established within the factory. Functional mechanisms and joint lines are officially verified before leaving the factory; approved products are packaged with industrial packaging standards unaffected by climatic conditions and logistics shocks and shipped to the site.

SITE MANAGEMENT AND PROJECT APPLICATION METHODOLOGY

Arcora manages and directs site operations in accordance with international project management standards in all medium and large-scale projects, superstructure works, architectural fine works, and industrial production processes. All processes from the design phase to the turnkey delivery are managed with an integrated engineering approach based on budget, time, quality, and occupational safety optimization.

Our technical, operational, and industrial capabilities in site applications:

1 Quantity Survey, Measurement Control, and Manufacturing Integration

a- Engineering Measurement Control: Within projects, as-built measurements are taken using 3D and digital measurement techniques before the manufacturing phase. The millimetric compatibility of components with the site is guaranteed, and design-application conflicts are minimized to zero.

b- Progress Billing and Financial Control: Subcontractor progress payments are calculated based on actual site quantities, surveys, and green book records. No manufacturing items other than the approved technical specifications are allowed, ensuring financial discipline.

2 Fixed Furniture Assembly Processes and Detail Management

a- Fixed Furniture Assembly Management: Fixed furniture assembly processes reflecting Arcora's industrial production power are carried out using specially developed assembly methodologies. The assembly of wall panels, wooden ceilings, and custom furniture is coordinated with the building's mechanical and electrical infrastructure.

b- Precise Calibration and Finish Details: Architectural finish lines, floor coverings, and ceiling elevations are calibrated using high-precision laser equipment. Installation is completed by calculating material expansion margins against climate changes.

3 Supply Chain, Warehousing, and Site Logistics

a- JIT (Just-In-Time) Logistics Management: Factory production lines and site assembly schedules are synchronized. Material shipping planning is optimized based on instant storage capacity and assembly sequence to prevent logistics bottlenecks.

b- Material Acceptance and Protection Protocols: The compliance of all components reaching the site is accepted by quality control engineers. Materials are stored in protected, site-specific storage areas against humidity and physical impacts.

4 Work Schedule (Timeframe) and Critical Path Method (CPM) Analysis

a- Time Management and Planning: From the beginning of the project, sequential relationships of all disciplines (electrical, mechanical, fine works, fixed and loose furniture assembly) are designed using CPM software.

b- Site Coordination and Delay Management: Daily and weekly progress percentages (S-Curve analysis) are tracked to detect deviations instantly. Absolute adherence to deadlines is ensured with resource leveling.

5 Occupational Health, Safety (OHS) and Legal Documentation

a- Zero Accident Policy: Risk analyses, work permits (PTW), and safe working conditions are applied compromises on-site. All subcontractor personnel must comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.

b- Legal and Technical Archiving: Daily diaries, coordination meeting minutes, material approval forms (MAS), technical drawing revs (RFI), and contracts are archived to secure the legal infrastructure of the project.

6 Efficient Workforce and Subcontractor Performance Management

a- Optimum Personnel Mobilization: Workforce histograms are analyzed to keep the optimum number of technicians and engineers on-site. Labor productivity is continuously inspected to eliminate idle times.

b- Subcontractor Quality Audit: Subcontractor workmanship quality is continuously inspected according to technical specifications. Non-standard works are reported with a Snag List, and corrective actions are applied before delivery.

Operational Discipline, Engineering Solutions

With its engineering reflex, strong manufacturing infrastructure, and interdisciplinary coordination capability in medium and large-scale projects, Arcora transforms even the most complex projects into reality within budget, quality, and on time.
